Weed Control

Weeds are generally best controlled by removing by hand prior to mowing. Your turf grower or local nursery can provide the correct chemical for larger tasks.

Some rules for Weed control:

  • Do not mow before or immediately after chemical applications
  • Chemicals should only be applied when the turf is actively growing and not under stress
  • Always follow the recommendations on the label
  • A fine mist spray evenly applied over the turf is all that is required to ensure good weed control

Conquest is tolerant of most herbicides on the market. Please refer to turf registered chemical labels for control of individual weeds in Conquest Couch
